孩子還不太會説話？

50年前的孩子們都在2到2.5嵗之間就會說完整的句子了。今天呢？孩子們通常會在2.5到3嵗之間才開始說完整的句子。延長了整整6個月。爲什麽？因爲坐在電視機或電腦前的孩子們會有比較少時間去吸收周圍的語言。研究顯示，坐在電視前“學習”口語的耳聾家長的孩子們雖然可以模仿電視機人物所使用的口語，但是他們不能夠了解口語是可以用來和別人溝通。電視機是不會教導孩子的。只有人際交往才可以！
Not always… my 26 m old NEVER watches TV (we don’t even have TV!) or uses a screen, she loves to read (would have us read to her all day long!) and play independently and she still has a speech delay :o( only in speech, she understands and does things very well.
