It looks thick. Is it good for summer? My cousin is 9 months old, and I want to buy this shoes for this birthday.

Pat, I think I answered this question in our conversation a long time ago, but I’m answering it here for anyone else who might be interested. In the summer, a 9-month old really doesn’t need shoes at all. Barefoot is best. But if they need shoes for some reason (for example, once my children were cruising, I put them in shoes because the parks in NYC are not clean at all), these are made with breathable knitted material, so they should be comfortable in the summer.
