My mother says holding babies in position where their head is hanging down (across lap, over shoulder) is scientifically proven to stimulate frontal lobe growth = smart babies. And babies love it because they were head down inutero! Plus, these exercises train them to strengthen their neck. God’s design – ingenious!

Bathing your baby

My mom tells us babies under two months haven’t lost their water instincts. To test: during bath, we poured water on their face with a bowl and sprayed them from head to toe with the showerhead…not a cry! They love it! Mom says babies three months and older have become ‘mammalian’ and will be terrified of water if we don’t foster what’s already there…

If your baby seems to be nursing constantly…

If your baby is nursing constantly, put a stop to it by nursing your baby only when she is VERY hungry and nursing till she is full (without letting her fall asleep halfway!) Read more here. It only took 2 days for my babies (at 4 weeks old) to learn to eat less often and WAY more at each meal. It was the first time I felt there was light at the end of the tunnel after giving birth! Liberation!
